Kids & Adult Helmet Warranty
1-Year Warranty against manufacturing defects when purchased from Xchange Sports.
This warranty is intended to cover manufacturing faults and does not cover normal wear, misuse or damage caused by an accident or impact.
30-Day Love Your Ride Guarantee
We want you and your child to be happy with your purchase.
If you’re not completely satisfied, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll work with you to find the best solution.
Many helmet sizing and fitting concerns can often be resolved quickly with a little expert guidance, so we recommend contacting us before arranging a return or exchange.

- Clear photos showing the helmet and issue
- Your full shipping address

Returns & Exchanges
If you would like to return or exchange your helmet, please contact us before sending it back.
Once your request has been reviewed, we’ll provide a Return Authorisation Number and return instructions.
Change-of-Mind & Size Exchanges
For approved change-of-mind returns or size exchanges, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Where the helmet supplied matches your order and product description, selecting the incorrect size is treated as a change-of-mind return or exchange, rather than a shipping or fulfilment error.
Before Customising or Using Your Helmet
If you think you may need to return or exchange the helmet for change-of-mind or sizing reasons, please keep it:
- Unused
- Unmarked and not customised
- With all original tags attached
- With the markers and stencil kit unopened and complete
- In its original packaging
Please check the fit before drawing on or customising the helmet, as a used or personalised helmet may not be suitable for a change-of-mind return.
If We Send the Wrong Item
If Xchange Sports makes an error with your order — such as sending the wrong helmet, colour or size — we’ll provide a pre-paid return label at no cost to you and arrange the appropriate solution.
Helmet Safety After an Impact
If a helmet has suffered a significant impact, it should be replaced even if there is no obvious visible damage.
Do not continue using a helmet that has been involved in a significant impact or shows signs of structural damage or excessive wear.
Faulty or Defective Products
If you believe your helmet has a manufacturing fault or defect, please contact us before returning it.
Depending on the circumstances, the appropriate solution may include a repair, replacement or refund.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply independently of any written warranty and cannot be excluded by this policy. Consumer guarantee rights may also continue beyond the stated warranty period.
Choosing the Right Size
For the safest and most comfortable fit, always measure your child’s head before ordering:
- Small: 47–49cm
- Medium: 49–52cm
- Large: 52–56cm
Measure around the widest part of the head just above the eyebrows. The helmet should sit level and feel secure without being uncomfortably tight.
