Root Industries Type R PRO Complete Kids Scooter

The Root Industries Type R PRO 2 wheel scooter combines a lightweight construction with high-quality pro scooter components, giving progressing riders a responsive and dependable setup for skatepark and trick riding.

• Designed for progressing riders: Recommended for riders approximately 6–14 years old and around 137–168cm tall, with a fixed 820mm total scooter height.
• Lightweight 3.4kg construction: The lightweight setup makes the scooter easier to control during turns, jumps and age-appropriate skatepark progression.
• Strong aluminium deck: The 6061 aluminium deck measures approximately 123mm wide by 500mm long, with around 350mm of usable foot space and Root Cut-Out R griptape.
• Smooth 110mm wheels: The 110mm by 24mm polyurethane wheels feature strong aluminium cores for a smooth, responsive ride and dependable skatepark performance.
• Pro-level steering setup: A 580mm-high chromoly steel handlebar, forged aluminium fork, IHC compression, AIR headset and aluminium double clamp provide responsive steering and reliable strength.
• Built for confident progression: Comfortable R2 grips, a responsive nylon rear brake and a maximum rider weight of 100kg create a capable platform for beginner through to advanced riding.

Fit tip: The Type R PRO kids scooter has a fixed 820mm total height and does not use an adjustable handlebar. When your child stands on the deck, the handlebars should sit around their waist-to-hip area with their arms comfortably bent.

• Suitable for different skill levels: The balanced design supports riders moving from their first pro scooter through to more confident skatepark riding.
• Lightweight and manageable: At approximately 3.4kg, the scooter remains easier for younger riders to steer, lift and control.
• Genuine pro-level components: The forged fork, IHC compression and quality headset provide better durability and performance than a basic recreational scooter.
• Room for progression: The strong frame, comfortable riding position and 100kg rider limit provide a dependable setup as skills and confidence develop.
