Root Industries Type R Mini 2 Wheel Scooter

The Root Industries Type R Mini brings pro-level strength, components and performance together in a compact scooter that is easier for younger riders to control.

• Designed for younger riders: Recommended for children approximately 4–8 years old and around 122–154cm tall, with a compact 720mm total scooter height.
• Lightweight 3.3kg construction: The ultra-light design makes the scooter easier for children to control, lift and begin learning age-appropriate skatepark skills.
• Compact pro scooter deck: The 120mm-wide by 440mm-long deck provides approximately 285mm of usable foot space and includes Root Industries Cut-Out R griptape.
• Smooth 110mm wheels: Quality 110mm by 24mm polyurethane wheels provide a smooth, responsive ride on skatepark surfaces and suitable paved riding areas.
• Pro-level steering setup: A 490mm-high chromoly steel handlebar, forged fork, IHC compression, AIR headset and Lithium double clamp deliver a strong and responsive front end.
• Built for progression: Durable components, comfortable R2 grips, a responsive nylon rear brake and a 60kg rider limit support beginners progressing towards skatepark and trick riding.

Fit tip: The Type R Mini has a fixed 720mm total height and does not use an adjustable handlebar. When standing on the deck, the handlebars should sit around your child’s waist-to-hip area with their arms comfortably bent.

Australia-wide delivery: A flat shipping fee of $20 applies to this product within Australia.

Dispatch time: Orders are normally dispatched from Sydney within two business days. Tracking information will be emailed once your order has been collected by the carrier.

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

• Metro areas: Approximately 2–5 business days.
• Regional areas: Approximately 3–8 business days.
• Remote areas: Approximately 5–12 business days.

Delivery estimates may vary during public holidays, peak shopping periods or because of carrier delays outside our control.

New Zealand customers: This product is currently available for delivery within Australia only. New Zealand delivery is limited to selected Kidvelo-branded bikes.

30-day returns: If the scooter is unsuitable for your child, contact us within 30 days of delivery to request a return.

Change-of-mind returns must be unused, undamaged and returned with all original instructions, components, inserts and packaging. Please assemble and check the scooter indoors and do not ride it outdoors if you may need to return it.

Scooters that have been ridden outdoors, used at a skatepark, used for tricks, modified, damaged or show signs of wear cannot be accepted as change-of-mind returns.

One-year scooter warranty: This scooter includes a one-year warranty against eligible manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, inappropriate tricks, modifications, incorrect assembly, normal wear or cosmetic damage.

Components such as wheels, bearings, grips, griptape and brakes are subject to normal wear and may require maintenance or replacement as the scooter is used.

If your product arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please photograph the product and packaging and contact us as soon as possible so we can help.
